Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Otero County Processing Medical Center in Chaparral, NM. This full-time, 12-hour night-shift nursing role offers a $43.84 hourly rate plus a $2 night diff and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time staff.

Responsibilities include direct patient care for detainees, medication administration, and comprehensive documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance and strict security of medical records.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CPR certification.
• Degree in nursing and NM nursing license required.
• Driver’s license in NM or TX with acceptable driving record, unless waived.

Responsibilities

• Attend sick call with physicians to see detainees and prepare exam room.
• Call physicians for medication/treatment orders and emergencies.
• Administer medication and document treatment per policies.
• Examine detainees and refer to ER as needed with proper documentation.
• Maintain clean work area and sanitation; ensure security of records.
