Job summary

Management & Training Corporation is seeking a licensed RN for the Otero County Processing Medical Center in Chaparral, NM. This full-time, 12-hour night shift role offers $43.84 per hour plus a $2 night differential and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified full-time applicants.

You will provide nursing care, document medical records, coordinate with physicians, ensure HIPAA compliance, and support accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree in nursing is required and active NM/compact state license.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• Must operate within New Mexico Board of Nursing scope.

Responsibilities

• Attend sick calls with physicians and prepare examination room.
• Call the physician for medication orders and emergencies.
• Administer medications and document treatment per policies.
• Assess detainees and refer to the emergency room as needed.
• Maintain clean work area and sanitation methods.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical records and HIPAA compliance.
• Chart medical care and manage on-call duties.
