Job summary

Mercy is seeking registered nurses to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and to maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned patients. You will collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care while preserving patient rights and confidentiality.

The role requires RN licensure in the hiring state or a compact license, BLS within 30 days, and appropriate certifications (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, and more) depending on unit.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may include ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, and other unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and preserves patient rights and confidentiality.
