As a nurse, you will develop and execute care plans, monitor residents, and collaborate with physicians and families to ensure safety and comfort while maintaining accurate medical records and compliance with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid RN license in good standing.
• Understanding of safe and effective nursing practices within Indiana.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• A passion for caring for people.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement resident care plans; maintain up-to-date nursing care plans; document progress; revise care plans as needed.
• Conduct daily and periodic resident visits to monitor physical and mental status.
• Perform routine nursing procedures with physicians and families to maintain health.
• Provide emotional support to residents and families; handle complaints and incidents.
• Document medical records, complete reports, shift narcotic counts, and manage med destruction.
• Maintain up-to-date resident medical records.
