Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Hospital – College Station is seeking a Registered Nurse for the IMCU/Telemetry unit. The RN will perform patient assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor adult cardiac, stroke, and multi-organ patients.

The role requires nursing licensure, BLS certification (or within 30 days), and a commitment to safety, compassion, and continuous learning in a fast-paced, self-scheduling environment. Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Full Time.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; empower them with healthcare knowledge.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
