Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Hospital – College Station in Texas seeks a Registered Nurse for the IMCU/Telemetry Unit. The role covers nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with self-scheduling and a 40-bed unit focused on adult cardiac, stroke, and multi-organ dysfunction patients.

You will monitor patients closely, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and provide high-quality nursing care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of start.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Prioritize patient and family needs and communicate clearly with the care team.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Document patient responses and adjust plans as needed.
