Job summary

City of Hope is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the IMCU/Med Surg unit to work FT Nights in Georgia. You will assess patient needs, coordinate therapies, and communicate with physicians to optimize care. A BSN is preferred and GA RN licensure is required.

You will educate patients and families, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in quality improvement efforts to ensure safe, effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be a Georgia-licensed RN with valid license.
• BSN degree required or enrolled within 6 months of hire; BSN completed within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Continuously assesses patient needs and communicates changes to the team.
• Delivers and evaluates therapeutic interventions per the care plan.
• Educates patients and families about disease, treatments, and health promotion.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and quality improvement initiatives.
• Obtains medical history and documents medication information in the chart.
