Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior clinical experience with recent psychiatric nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
• RN graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Licensure in Louisiana as a registered nurse; CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interdepartmental collaboration.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision campus-wide to all staff on the night shift.
• Perform physical assessments of residents and monitor treatment plans.
• Evaluate response to treatment and ensure complete documentation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and provide health education.
• Maintain professional standards in line with ANA practice.
