Job summary

Ascension Health's Cedar Park Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing and support staff during night shifts, ensuring seamless clinical operations and high-quality care.

You will lead staffing, performance evaluations, patient care allocations, and quality assurance initiatives while resolving care-related concerns in a fast-paced hospital setting. Previous house supervisor experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
• 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership & Oversight: Direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts to ensure seamless clinical operations and high-quality care.
• Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations and provide input on hiring, training, and professional growth.
• Patient Care Allocation: Assess daily patient needs to develop and distribute equitable, population-appropriate care assignments for the nursing team.
• Quality Assurance: Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify/resolution of systemic issues to optimize outcomes.
• Conflict Resolution: Manage and resolve patient care complaints through established channels to maintain satisfaction.
