Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Tucson is seeking an RN House Supervisor to provide administrative supervision of campus workflow, resource utilization and operations during the night shift across clinical and non-clinical departments.

You will lead a high-quality team, participate in shared leadership, and ensure efficient patient placement while collaborating with nursing and medical staff at both Tucson campuses. This role offers growth opportunities and requires holiday/weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assesses staffing effectiveness and appropriate skill mix to meet census and labor budgets.
• Responds to codes and crisis situations; implements plans and uses the chain of command.
• Serves as a resource to patients, families, physicians, and staff; prioritizes and resolves concerns.
• Interprets policies to ensure patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.
• Supports continuous quality improvement initiatives across the campus.
• Leads through coaching, performance evaluations, and development opportunities.
• May be responsible for selection, orientation, onboarding, and retention.
