Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a dedicated RN for night shift to provide 18 hours per week of compassionate care in our hospital setting. The role requires administering medications, assessing patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver individualized care.

Candidates should hold an RN license in Illinois, with ADN required and BSN preferred. ACLS, PALS, and CPR/BLS certifications are expected as per unit requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience per department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policies.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Escalates safety concerns through proper chain of command.
• Maintains professional nursing continuum and peer review participation.
