Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2 East Surgical Stepdown/PCU on the Night shift. The 32-bed unit serves high-acuity surgical patients with frequent monitoring and complex nursing care within Core Surgical Services, Cardiothoracic, and Vascular teams.

The role emphasizes clinical decision-making, care planning, patient and family education, and HIPAA compliance. MI RN license, BLS, and ACLS requirements apply to specified departments; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing that enables the graduate to sit for the NCLEX to become licensed as an RN; BSN preferred.
• Current Michigan RN license; BLS; ACLS required for specified departments (Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency).
• Canadian RNs encouraged to apply; BSN within five years from date of hire if not already obtained.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age-specific needs; strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail in professional nursing care.

Responsibilities
