Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking an experienced RN to deliver high-quality nursing care for hematology/oncology and transplantation patients in a demanding clinical setting.

In this role you will supervise interventions, assess learning needs, and educate patients and staff while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans. The shift pattern is 12-hour night shifts, with weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• RN license or registration in good standing
• BLS from ARC or AHA required
• At least 6 months of Acute Care RN experience
• Oncology and/or stem cell transplantation RN experience preferred
• Current valid chemotherapy & immunotherapy certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care for hematology/oncology and transplantation patients.
• Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks to team members.
• Assess patient, family and staff learning needs; deliver clinical education.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
