Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK is seeking an RN for the Medical-Surgical unit on a full-time night shift. The RN provides compassionate nursing care, performs comprehensive assessments, and coordinates the plan of care with the patient and family.

Requirements include Oklahoma RN licensure, ADN (BSN preferred), BLS, ALS within 3 months, NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days, and basic computer skills. UHS affiliation supports growth and education.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• ALS required within 3 months of employment.
• Experience preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certified within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients.
• Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Collaborates with the patient’s designated care partner to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
