Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, Ohio, is hiring a registered nurse for the Medical/Surgical unit (Bariatric/Ortho/Neuro). This full-time position features a 12-hour night shift, a 3-shift schedule with every third weekend, and a 12-week orientation to support seamless onboarding.

You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document plan of care while maintaining patient safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from school of nursing.
• Licensure/Certification: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Casual RN: 2 years of experience required.
• New graduate nurses with <1 year clinical experience join Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care, collaborates with patient and family to plan care including physical, spiritual, and educational components.
• Communicates pertinent information to team members promptly and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately per policies and guidelines.
• Takes responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by others as appropriate.
