Job summary

Mount Carmel Grove City Medical/Surgical – General Surgery unit is a 42-bed facility providing care for general, ortho, neuro and bariatric cases. We are hiring a full-time RN for 3 twelve-hour night shifts, with every third weekend and a 12-week orientation.

The RN provides care in line with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, delivering patient-centered care in a collaborative, evidence-based environment within Mount Carmel Health System.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Two years of experience required for casual RNs.
• New graduate nurses may enroll in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with patient and family to develop a care plan.
• Communicate timely with team members and keep families updated.
• Document assessments and outcomes per standards and guidelines.
• Assume accountability for care provided by others as appropriate.
