Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is hiring an RN for General Surgery 3W in St. Louis, MO. This full-time, night-shift role runs 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Eligible candidates can receive sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced nurses or up to $5,000 for new graduates. The RN will provide patient care, ensure confidentiality, and uphold Mercy Service Standards while collaborating with the care team and other departments.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Missouri or compact state.
• Hospital nursing experience preferred for certain units.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Evaluate care effectiveness of other direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
