Job summary

The Good Samaritan Albion is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care to residents, coordinating with families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care in a Christian, not-for-profit environment.

This full-time night-shift position requires leadership as a charge nurse and the ability to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe, high-quality care across all care phases.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel to ensure safe, reliable resident care.
