Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team in ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing services and serve as a patient advocate.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, and communicate status to care team.
• Administer medications and ensure safe operation of patient care equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hospital safety policies and patient rights.
