Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is hiring an RN for its Central Float Pool. This full-time, night shift (7p-7a) position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and premium differentials.

The float pool covers IMCU and Medical/Surgical units, with training in ICU and ED for RNs seeking to move into critical care areas. Two years acute care experience is preferred; new grad candidates with hospital acute care background may be considered.

Qualifications

• RN degree or diploma required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• New Grad RN with hospital acute care experience may be considered.
• BLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS within 1 year of hire (Required).

Responsibilities

• Float to IMCU or Medical/Surgical units to support nursing coverage.
• Receive training and precepting on the ICU and ED for RNs.
• Provide direct patient care with varied acuity in the float pool.
