SSM Health’s St. Mary’s Hospital in Janesville, WI is seeking a float pool Registered Nurse for the night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday rotation. The role requires 1–2 years of critical care experience (Emergency, ICU, PACU) and may involve Ultrasound IV training.

The nurse will float across Emergency, Med/Surg, ICU, and Family Birth units as needed. Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care per policy, coordinating with the interprofessional team,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years RN experience in critical care preferred.
• Experience in Emergency, ICU, PACU encouraged.
• Ultrasound IV training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Develop and implement efficient care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Educate patients and families about measures to promote health and comfort.
• Coordinate with the care team to evaluate outcomes and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care environment.
