Memorial Physician Practices is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Pool in Hickory, NC. This role requires a current RN license and offers a PRN schedule with nights, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts. The nurse will perform assessments, initiate interventions, and provide age-appropriate care.

Applicants should have Basic Life Support certification and experience in critical care preferred. The position offers competitive pay rates: $54.81 for Tier I and $60.90 for Tier II, along with comprehensive benefits including tuition assistance and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• 1-2 years of bedside RN experience required.
• 2-4 years of Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation in medical records.
• Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs accurate quality improvement assessments.
