Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care across the continuum, following the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic, and efficient outcomes.

The role requires a CA RN license and BLS certification, with ACLS preferred. You will work 12-hour night shifts, with 36-hour cycles, and occasional weekend coverage as needed in a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school
• 3 Years Clinical experience
• California RN license required (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider required
• ACLS Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Delegates/assigns and communicates expectations for care delivery processes to each member of the team.
• Knowledgeable about what can and cannot be delegated to each different health care team member.
• Responsible for delegation and follows through to ensure delegated task is complete.
• Before delegating, analyzes each situation, determines and consistently applies levels of supervision needed.
• Documents per department/entity guidelines of care and policies and procedures.
