Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX seeks an RN Float to support patient care across med-surg units. Night shift 7pm–7am, requires 1 year Med Surg experience; BLS preferred.

You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient transitions. You will develop nursing care plans, document care, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan personalized nursing care.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for desired outcomes.
• Delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines and patient condition.
• Educate patients, families, and staff to support ongoing care.
