Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to work the 12-hour night shift in the Emergency Department. The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care and provide education to patients and families.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), current RN licensure in Maryland or a compact state, BLS certification, and 2+ years of RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure in Maryland or a compact state.
• BLS certification (AHA); Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage care using nursing process and educate patient/family.
• Communicate effectively with health care team.
• Collaborate with ED team to coordinate care and continuum.
