Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting. You will participate in evidence-based medicine and holistic patient care while providing education to patients and families.

Requirements include ADN with RN licensure in Maryland or a Compact state and BLS certification; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification AHA; additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the Emergency Department as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Plan and manage care using the nursing process, including patient/family education.
• Communicate patient information effectively to the health care team.
