Job summary

One Brooklyn Health System Inc. is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department in Brooklyn, NY. The night shift requires a BSN, 2–3 years of trauma center experience, and certification readiness (TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, AHA Stroke).

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, directing direct patient care, and supervising licensed staff while maintaining a high standard of safety and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center.
• Competent in vent/tracheostomy and gastrostomy tubes, medication titration.
• BSN required; TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS and AHA Stroke certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care.
• Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate all care for assigned patients.
• Supervise LPNs, RN on permit, nursing attendants, technicians and other staff.
• Ensure safety and quality care across shifts and units.
