Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse for the Emergency Department (ED) on a full-time night shift. The ED nurses independently assess conditions and rapidly arrange multidisciplinary care in a Level I Trauma Center setting.

Role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, NY RN license, BCLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with preferred TNCC/CEN/ENPC/TPEN certifications and strong ED experience. On-site with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certification
• At least 1 year of previous nursing experience
• TNCC, CEN, ENPC, TPEN certifications preferred
• Strong Emergency Department nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess conditions in the ED and rapidly arrange multidisciplinary care.
• Collaborate with paramedics, physicians and teams to deliver time-critical care.
• Provide life-saving interventions and support to patients and families.
