Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (Level I Trauma Center). You will join a high-performing team on the night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., with weekends every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Eligible candidates may receive up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The role offers exposure to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and critical care cases in a Magnet-designated, tiered 53-bed ED within a 525-bed

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS, TCRN, SCRN, TNCC, CEN, PALS, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency care in a fast-paced ED.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat trauma, cardiac, stroke and critical care patients.
• Demonstrate strong decision‑making and patient‑centered care under pressure.
