Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Staff RN to join a hospital-based team. This 0.9 FTE night-shift role features 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and a multidisciplinary approach to care.

Applicants should hold a current WA RN license, have a BSN preferred, and possess BLS; ACLS/NALS/PALS/TNCC/NRP may be required by the department. Prior acute care experience is valued in this exciting nursing journey.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State (MLS) required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting patient autonomy and dignity.
