Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for FirstChoice, Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. This part-time, night-shift position offers premium compensation and maximum flexibility, with opportunities to float across hospital locations and regions.

As a FirstChoice RN you will provide care across multiple specialties, maintain required licensure and credentials, and participate in a program that supports flexible scheduling, travel, and per diem opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• 18 months minimum recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
• 2 years minimum for all other specialties including Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC). BLS, ACLS and PALS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float across hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Apply nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within licensure and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
