Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital seeks a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in Rochelle Park, NJ. The RN will provide systematic patient assessments and document care accurately while ensuring medical orders are processed. Required qualifications include a state RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package, including scholarships and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Document patient information accurately.
• Interpret diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure accuracy in transcription of medical orders.
• Administer Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
