Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift in Clermont, FL. The Advanced Care RN role requires critical nursing skills in high-acuity settings with a focus on rapid response and patient stabilization.

Education includes graduation from an approved nursing program and FL RN licensure with BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain units. One year of RN experience is preferred, especially ICU/ED backgrounds, to support the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current Florida RN licensure.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 1-2 years of ICU or ED RN experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets monitors.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Develops and revises an individualized plan of care and evaluates progress.
• Communicates with medical staff and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Documents patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and compliant manner.
