Southern Health Partners, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our correctional healthcare team at the Tuscaloosa County Jail in Alabama.

This full-time night shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a rotating schedule, with a 12-hour shift pattern. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care, performing assessments, administering medications, and maintaining medical records while collaborating with physicians and the correctional team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Provide patient education and promote continuity of care
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare and correctional teams
• Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality at all times
