Job summary

The Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Patient Care Services Team on a PRN basis, night shift, at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Township, Michigan.

The RN will lead nursing care activities, collaborate with physicians and support staff, delegate tasks, monitor patients, and help with discharge planning while upholding high standards of care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• RN licensed to practice in Michigan.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with physicians and care team.
• Delegate and evaluate patient care activities to team members.
• Monitor patient progress and prepare for discharge.
• Provide leadership and supervision within the nursing team.
• Participate in shared decision‑making with unit management.

Education

RN license Michigan

BSN preferred

AHA BLS certified
