Breathitt Health & Rehabilitation in Jackson, KY is hiring Registered Nurses for full-time night shift (7PM-7AM). Compensation is $36–$38 per hour, with shift differentials as applicable. Benefits include daily pay access and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license is required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Team player with strong communication and passion for senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.
• Plan nursing interventions for each resident based on individual needs and monitor the implementation.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care interventions, identify problems and trends and develop alternative interventions.
• Conduct family and resident education.
• Administer medications and treatments timely and according to center policy.
• Transcribe physician’s orders and document progress notes accurately.
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family.
• Coordinate resident rehabilitation program with therapists to meet rehabilitation needs.
• Support CNA documentation and ensure assignments are completed.
