Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; diploma required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to assess and plan patient care.
• Experience with nursing education and discharge planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient- and family-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Partner with patients and families to address learning needs and care priorities.
• Participate in safety, quality improvement, and committee activities.
• Use health IT to document, communicate, and monitor outcomes.
• Mentor others as a primary preceptor when appropriate.
