Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA referenced.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Multistate licensure allowed if in an NLC state.
• Maintains department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Provides nursing care across the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinates care, patient education, triage and other nursing interventions.
• Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure; follows ANA Code of Ethics.
