Southridge Specialty Care in Marshalltown, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (6pm–6am) to deliver compassionate nursing care in a skilled nursing setting. The role involves clinical operations support, medication administration, and ensuring resident safety with the interdisciplinary team.

Licensed in Iowa with CPR certification is required, along with knowledge of LTC regulations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or ability to activate.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit to maintain quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status promptly.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate care needs effectively with residents and families.
• Document care to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
