Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse for night shifts with 3x12s schedule. You will collaborate with the care team to manage admissions, transfers and bed assignments, while ensuring safety and adherence to policy.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), at least 1 year of clinical experience, and a current RN license. BLS/ACLS are preferred. This facility follows Florida background screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of medical terminology, levels of care, treatment modalities, and health care delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to administration, physicians, patients and staff.
• Experience working in hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team to manage patient flow and bed assignments.
• Screens patients by diagnosis to appropriately assign bed placements.
• Communicates bed assignments and verifies patient information during admission.
• Prioritizes admissions and transfers based on acuity and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures safe, cost-effective care delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
