Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a registered nurse in the Cherry Hill, NJ area to provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care. You will develop care plans, work with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge steps.

The role emphasizes adherence to nursing protocols, ongoing professional growth, and active participation in safety and quality initiatives within the hospital setting.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
NJ RN license required and maintained.
BLS & ACLS certification as per American Heart Association/Red Cross.
Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and effective communication with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

Interacts with patients, families, co-workers and staff in a manner consistent with Jefferson Health values.
Applies evidence-based practice and clinical expertise for optimal care.
Educates patients and families on learning priorities and treatment plans.
Minimizes risk by following nursing protocols and improving processes.
Uses health IT to communicate, document, and support ethical decisions.
Participates in hospital and practice committees on safety and quality improvements.
