Job summary
Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CDH 4C Medical Intermediate Unit. This Full-Time Night shift (7pm–7:30am) includes rotating weekends in a 26-bed unit providing care for patients with complex medical conditions.
The role requires a BSN, IL RN license, 3+ years RN experience, BLS, telemetry competency, and strong English communication. NM offers a competitive benefits package including tuition reimbursement and loan repayment.
Qualifications
- BSN required; RN licensed in Illinois and 3+ years RN experience.
- Telemetry competency and BLS required.
- Basic computer skills and proficient English communication.
- Ability to assess patient needs and coordinate care with the health team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily unit operations and staff.
- Coordinate patient care ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor and lead staff; participate in unit quality initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with patients and families.
