Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City is seeking a night shift, full-time RN Charge to lead day-to-day operations of the nursing unit. The Charge Nurse oversees safety, throughput, and caregiver accountability, coordinating with physicians and staff to deliver safe patient care.

This role requires Oklahoma RN licensure, ASN (BSN within two years preferred), and current BLS. Strong English communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma.
• Associates of Science in Nursing required, BSN within two years of accepting position, preferred.
• Current BLS certification upon accepting PCN role.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Department specific competencies will be completed in the applicable department during the orientation process.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for day-to-day management and operations of the nursing unit.
• Supervises and directs activities on the nursing units; coordinates assignments.
• Collaborates with physicians and internal/external entities to deliver safe patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• May float to other units occasionally; adheres to patient safety goals.
