Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience, current Illinois RN license, CPR, ACLS and NIHSS within a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing
• At least 1 year of RN experience in an inpatient setting
• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or BLS)
• ACLS and NIHSS certification within one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized inpatient nursing care for cardiac telemetry and neuro step-down patients, ensuring patient safety, administering treatments, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, respond to emergencies, document care accurately, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
