AdventHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift in Shawnee Mission, KS. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license required and actively practicing
• 1+ year in acute care hospital setting preferred
• Ability to work as a team member within a unit
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG/ALS requirements as per unit state guidelines

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments evaluating physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural and spiritual factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and hospital protocol
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies
• Coordinate with medical staff and ancillary departments to optimize patient care and teamwork
