Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (10:30pm–7:00am) on our behavioral health units. The role includes nursing assessments, medication administration, crisis response, and collaboration with treatment teams to develop patient care plans.

Offering full benefits, overtime potential, weekend/holiday rotation, and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 with a 2-year commitment; part-time options available with some exclusions.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to receive/renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a designated unit per Roxbury Treatment Center philosophy.
• Prescribe, coordinate and delegate nursing care.
• Complete nursing assessments and document patient progress each shift.
• Facilitate medication administration per safe practices and patient education.
• Respond to crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.
• Attend Treatment Team meetings to aid in care plan development.
• Oversee and direct mental health technicians in patient care activities.
• Be accountable for assigned nursing care and promote professional practice.
• May assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as required.
