Job summary

Roxbury Treatment Center in Shippensburg, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (8 hours, 10:30pm–7:00am) with weekend/holiday rotation. Over time and cross-shift coverage available. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered for a 2 year commitment.

We provide comprehensive nursing care across adolescent and adult mental health units and substance use disorder services, with strong professional development and benefits.”

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain/renew.
• Current CPR or BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on assigned unit in line with Roxbury Treatment Center philosophy and objectives.
• Prescribe, coordinate, and delegate nursing care.
• Complete nursing assessments and document patient progress each shift.
• Facilitate medication administration safely and educate patients.
• Respond to crisis/emergency events to ensure patient safety.
• Attend Treatment Team to aid in patient care planning.
• Oversee and direct mental health technicians in patient care activities.
• Be accountable for assigned nursing care on shift and uphold professional practice.
• Possibly assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as required.
