Job summary

Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Adult Psychiatric Nursing Unit on night shift (PRN). The role involves comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, direct nursing care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to design and adjust patient care plans.

Required IL RN license and BLS within 30 days; a Diploma in Nursing is required. One year of behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and deliver direct nursing care to guide patients through individualized treatment journeys.
• Design, implement and adapt personalized care plans that align with multidisciplinary clinical goals and evolving patient needs.
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams in case conferences to refine treatment objectives and ensure seamless, coordinated care.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and clinical interventions, continuously evaluating patient progress to drive positive health outcomes.
