Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree in nursing and an active RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR and hospital-deployed de-escalation technique certification are required.
• Preferred: an advanced nursing degree or additional nursing certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admissions and daily shift nursing assessments for patients in behavioral health care.
• Administer medications and monitor for changes in condition using safe medication practices.
• Provide patient and family education, document in the EMR, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead shift nursing responsibilities, supervise team communication, and maintain a therapeutic milieu.
