Job summary

RI International in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Crisis - Bridge Center for Hope. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with a night shift from Thursday to Saturday and alternating Wednesdays, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Salary ranges from $43.00 to $45.00 per hour, with no sign-on bonus.

The RN will oversee medical, psychiatric and nursing care and serve as a clinical liaison until enrollment at another facility. State RN license is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid and current state RN license.
• 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guest care and advocacy.
• Coordinates services with health, mental health and social service agencies.
• Assists individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
• Conducts assessments and treatment plans.
• Provides individual and family counseling.
• Participates in development of educational curriculum.
• Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring (diabetes, BP).
• Responds to crisis calls for assessment and intervention.
• Coordinates relationships with outside medical and nursing support.
